Here's a quick update on season 2. This was shared with my newsletter subscribers last week; if you want to be the first to know when S2 drops, why not subscribe?
I hope 2018 has been good to all of you so far. We got some much-needed sunshine here in central Ohio today, and after a brisk walk, I'm feeling unusually bright.
Season 2 Update
I wanted to provide an update on Season 2 of Pete Brown Says, another 10-episode run I had hoped to launch in February. I'm afraid my eyes were bigger than my stomach with that plan, which is something my Dad used to say to me when I was a kid and tried ordering spaghetti at Bob Evans. Since the new year, it's been a busy run for me personally and professionally, and it's made a sustained production effort on the season 2 episodes tricky.
The good news is that the writing is getting done, if in fits and spurts, and I'm both surprised and fascinated by where the narratives seem to be going. As I mentioned in my last episode, Season 2 will be a mix of my own stories and those of a few others who are letting me share some of their narratives. About half of the interviews are done, and I'm liking how the content is coming together. I've also been re-listening to Season 1 again and making a list of ways I can improve the production.
So, what's the new timeline? I'm not entirely sure. My hope is to begin publishing episodes in early June and stretch them across the summer into fall. If it looks like I'm slipping again, I'll reach out and let you know. In the meantime, please do keep recommending the podcast to anyone you think may like it. All of the S1 episodes are more-or-less evergreen, so new listeners can pick up anywhere in the season. You can just forward along this link if you'd like.

Catch Me on Sports Wednesday and Mindset Digital podcasts
In the meantime, you can always catch me on the Mindset Digital podcast, which we produce at the agency I work at and which covers the digital communications revolution we find ourselves in. I've also been joining a couple of goofball sports fans for the inexplicable podcast Sports Wednesday, which comes out, as the name suggests, every Wednesday. It's sports talk for the medium fan, and a lot of free-flowing fun once a week.
